THE Boardscompany snowboards are 3D pressed with a subtle lift (max. 1.5 mm) of the base and the edges at the tips. This lifts the contact points slightly off the snow. Thanks to Edge Lift Technology you're less likely to catch an edge while riding. This makes initiating turns easier with a more natural start and exit of your turns. You ride smoother, have more fun learning new tricks and also benefit from extra float in powder.

Multi-Grip technology adds extra contact points on the heel and toe edges for additional grip in icy conditions. Think of it like snow chains for your car. The Multi-Grip technology consists of extremely subtle ridges of just under 1 mm on the edges beneath your bindings. These are virtually invisible to the naked eye and hardly noticeable in soft snow, but they provide a smoother ride with significantly more grip on hard, icy snow. This lets you ride more stably and with greater confidence, even when the piste becomes more challenging and slick.
For me the THE Alfa TI is truly the board I reach for when I want to get the most out of a day on the mountain. It's a snowboard that works everywhere — from groomed runs to icy sections and fresh powder. It feels immediately stable and controlled, yet lively and playful, which gives me the confidence to go faster and ride better turns.
What really makes this board special is the power and technology you feel in every turn. The Triax fiberglass construction delivers maximum energy transfer to the edges, while carbon and titanal add extra pop, damping and stability. The result? A board that rides extremely energetic but stays smooth even at high speed.
The shape completes the package. Thanks to the CamRock combo I get grip and pop underfoot, plus smooth turn initiation and extra float in powder. The directional twin shape makes the board feel versatile, while giving a bit more stability when I pick up speed.
What I particularly like is how forgiving the board remains. Initiating turns is effortless even at lower speeds, while at high speed it stays stable and precise. The Multi-Grip and Edge Lift technology provide extra confidence on hard or icy snow, without sacrificing a smooth ride.
In short: the THE Alfa TI isn't just a standard all-mountain board to me — it's a real upgrade. It's the kind of board that automatically makes you ride better and want to get the most out of every run. Once I'm on it, I just want to keep going.
