The Whitespace Women's Freestyle Opal is a wonderfully versatile women's snowboard for riders who like to use the whole mountain as their playground. Whether you want to carve groomers, hit jumps in the park or ride switch, this board lets you do it all. The combination of stability, pop and playfulness makes the Women's Freestyle a great choice for riders who want to progress their freestyle skills.
The Women's Freestyle features a Camber profile that provides excellent edge hold, stability and a direct response while riding. That lets you build speed with confidence and get a lot of energy back out of your turns. You also benefit from camber when hitting jumps because it’s easy to generate pop from the board.
Thanks to the Directional Twin shape the snowboard feels familiar when riding both regular and switch. The slightly setback stance also gives extra control when exploring the whole mountain. The smaller sidecut radius makes the board very manoeuvrable and lets you make quick, short turns with ease.
The core is made from a mix of poplar and paulownia wood. These woods keep weight low and provide a lively, responsive character. The Dura-LT Carbon fiberglass layer combines a tightly woven 45° fiberglass structure with carbon reinforcements. This adds stability without unnecessary weight. The C4X Carbon reinforcements on the underside provide additional control and a smooth ride feel, even at higher speeds.
The Sintered Base is fast, durable and absorbs wax well. That helps you maintain speed easily, both on groomers and between park features. ABS sidewalls reduce vibrations and protect the board from impacts.
Whitespace also uses plant-based bio-resin and water-based inks to reduce environmental impact.
