Burton Women's Profile Glove: Daily Warmth and Storm-Ready Protection
The Burton Women’s Profile Glove in True Black is a glove I can recommend to any snowboarder. For me, a great glove is always about the balance between warmth, protection and freedom of movement. This glove gets those three points exactly right.
The exterior is made from DRYRIDE 2-layer material which, together with the Dryride Insert membrane, provides waterproofing and breathability. Your hands stay dry whether you're in wet snow or spending a long day on the slopes. The Thermacore insulation adds a pleasant dose of warmth without making the glove heavy or stiff.
What I personally find a big plus is the Screen Grab® technology. That lets you operate your smartphone or action cam without taking your gloves off. Especially on cold days that's ideal, because you can keep your hands warm while still taking photos or changing a track.
The pre-shaped fingers and soft lining make the glove feel natural and comfortable, even when you wear it all day. You also get good grip, which is handy for your bindings or holding your snowboard in the lift.
