Everything about the Gnu Headspace
Everything about the Gnu Headspace
The GNU Head Space is a freestyle snowboard for riders who want to be creative and play with everything the mountain has to offer.

The Head Space has a twin shape, so the nose and tail share the same profile. That makes it just as easy to ride regular as switch. This makes the board ideal for freestyle snowboarders who want to combine spins, rails, presses and creative lines.

Flex varies by length from roughly 4.5 to 6 out of 10. This keeps the board playful enough for freestyle while the larger sizes give enough stiffness for speed and bigger jumps.
The GNU Head Space is a freestyle snowboard for riders who want to be creative and play with everything the mountain has to offer. This is Forest Bailey's signature board and its character shows it immediately: playful enough for rails and sidehits, yet powerful and controlled enough to charge hard through the resort. GNU calls the Head Space a true freestyle twin that performs on the street, in the park, and on piste.
The Head Space has a twin shape, so the nose and tail have the same profile. That makes it just as easy to ride regular as switch. This makes the board ideal for freestyle snowboarders who want to combine spins, rails, presses and creative lines. The stance is centered, keeping the board well balanced during tricks.
An important part of its character is the C3 camber profile. This is a powerful camber construction that delivers lots of grip, pop and stability. Compared to a rocker board, the Head Space feels more direct and precise. When you initiate a turn or launch off a kicker you get a lot of energy back. That makes it especially appealing to riders with some technique who want an active, responsive board.
GNU also uses Magne-Traction®. The mildly wavy steel edges create multiple contact points with the snow, giving extra grip on hard and icy slopes. Especially combined with the camber profile, this gives the Head Space surprising control outside the park.
The flex varies by length from roughly 4.5 to 6 out of 10. This keeps the board playful enough for freestyle while the larger sizes provide enough stiffness for speed and bigger jumps. GNU also uses an FSC-certified eco core and a fast sintered eco-sublimated base, making the board robust and good at holding speed.
The GNU Head Space is therefore a strong choice for the rider who takes freestyle seriously but doesn't want to stay only in the park. A lively, precise and creative board that handles rails, kickers, sidehits and fast piste runs all in the same day.
