Snowboard specialist from Sideways speaks out
The Jones Mountain Twin Junior is the snowboard for young riders who want to seriously develop their all-mountain skills and make the most of every day on the mountain. This board is built as a true mini-version of the adult Mountain Twin and gives you exactly the mix of freestyle fun and all-mountain performance you need to progress quickly.
Thanks to the directional twin shape the board feels super versatile: riding switch is easy, but you also get that little extra stability and float when it's needed. Whether you're playing in the park, hitting side hits or simply carving fast on the groomers—this board remains playful and controllable.
The CamRock profile (a combination of camber and rocker) makes the difference. Camber underfoot gives you pop, edge hold and energy, while the rocker in the nose and tail provides smooth turn initiation and extra forgiveness. That makes the board feel lively and accessible at the same time—perfect to make quick progress without it ever becoming boring.
The construction is also high-end for a junior board. The lightweight wood core of paulownia and poplar provides a perfect mix of weight, pop and durability. Add the responsive fiberglass layers and you get a board that reacts instantly to your movements and inspires confidence at speed.
What really makes the Mountain Twin Junior special is how all-round it feels. This is not an "only for beginners" board—this is a true progression machine. It grows with you, from first carves to rails, jumps and first powder days off-piste.
In short: the Jones Mountain Twin Junior is the perfect board for young snowboarders who don't want to feel limits. Playful, versatile and super reliable—this is the board that helps you become better, faster and more confident on the mountain every day.
